How to Get Rid of Frizzy Hair in 11 Seconds
Why does hair get frizzy?
Frizz is raised cuticle. When the outer layer of your hair lifts — from humidity, heat damage, or dryness — moisture gets in unevenly and strands puff up instead of lying smooth.
The 11-second fix:
- Warm 2–3 drops of hair oil between your palms (3 seconds).
- Smooth over mid-lengths and ends — never the roots (3 seconds).
- Gently press (don't rub) down the canopy of your hair (5 seconds).
That's it. The oil seals the cuticle flat, and flat cuticle = no frizz + instant shine.
Why oil, not more conditioner?
Conditioner rinses out. A leave-in oil stays on the hair and keeps working all day — especially in humidity, which is frizz's best friend.
Preventing frizz long-term:
- Sleep on silk or satin to reduce friction
- Don't brush dry, damaged hair aggressively — detangle gently from ends up
- Use a weekly deep mask to keep the cuticle healthy from the inside
